I am looking for family members and information
about Hans Larson of which there are two--(father and
son)-- both have the same name and both were steamship captains.
The name "LARSON" was sometimes mispelled as the English version--"LAWSON" but this family emigrated from Christiania, Norway in the mid to late 19th century.
Nancy Larson, one of several girls in this family,
married Christopher Cross Rex, later a cabinet maker
in London, Ontario before finally moving to Flint,
Michigan and working with other Rex family members
at Buick Motors in later life ( sometime after 1919). Nancy and Chris Cross Rex had two children: Emily and John Peter Rex.
